Mod Policy
If you are getting kicked a lot from the server, you may be using a mod that is not allowed. Please read the following to ensure you are following our mod policy.
Which mods are allowed?
- Mods that don’t provide a combat advantage are allowed, such as performance mods.
- You are allowed to use visual mods as long as they do not reveal other players’ locations, ores through walls, or server easter eggs.
Which mods are NOT allowed?
Essentially, any mod that performs actions on your behalf or allows you to see entities behind walls is not allowed. This includes:
- Any mods that provide a combat advantage such as changing your movement speed, reach, or rotating for you.
- Inventory management mods or anything that moves items around for you.
- Mods that automatically place, use, or otherwise aide the usage of items, other than visually, is not allowed.
- Auto-clickers, macros, or any other form of click automation.
- Mods that add controller or VR support since it’s altering your rotation.
- Mods that allow multi-version support since these mods sometimes do not mimic vanilla behavior correctly.
Example of some mods that are NOT allowed
- AutoTotem
- Controlify
- Tweakeroo
- InventoryTweaks
- ViaFabric
Not all mods are going to be listed.
Which clients are allowed?
As long as the client follows our guidelines, they are allowed. The following clients are officially approved as they do not provide an unfair advantage to other players by default: Lunar, Feather, Alpine, Badlion, and Labymod.
Any additional mods you install on a client must comply with our mod policy as well.
